Access MediQuip's Recall Management Service (RMS) is designed to protect patients, inform and empower physicians and facilities, and help payers improve quality while managing cost.   RMS leverages its expansive database of facility, device, and case-related information to identify potentially affected patients through a series of reactive and proactive processes. This capability allows RMS to recognize patients who have already received a defective device, as well as those currently scheduled to receive one. These safeguards help payers realize substantial savings by avoiding unnecessary procedural costs and enabling providers to deliver higher quality patient care.

The process of pulling procedural records and correlating them to specific implanted devices, with various serial and lot numbers, is both costly and highly inefficient. RMS has streamlined this process by providing notifications of which patients were potentially affected and their corresponding case information.
